Modifica o cancellazione della prenotazione

Il cliente ha facoltà di modificare e/o cancellare la prenotazione on-line in qualsiasi momento fino a 24 ore prima dell'inizio delnoleggio, attraverso la pagina che riporta la prenotazione in questione. La comunicazione di modifica o cancellazione avrà validità dalla data di invio.

Il periodo minimo richiesto per cancellare le prenotazioni senza penali è di 8 giorni lavorativi. Sono considerati giorni lavorativi tutti i giorni eccetto sabato, domenica e festivi. Se la richiesta di cancellazione perviene successivamente al suddetto periodo minimo richiesto, verranno applicate le seguenti penali:

- Cancellazione effettuata con meno di 7 giorni lavorativi dalla data di inizio noleggio: verrà addebitato l'ammontare minore tra il presunto costo della prenotazione ed un importo forfettario che va fino ad un massimo di 20 GBP (sull'e/c della carta di credito comparirà il corrispettivo del suddetto importo in Euro).

- Cancellazione effettuata con meno di 24 ore dalla data di inizio noleggio: verrà addebitato l'ammontare minore tra il presunto costo della prenotazione ed un importo forfettario che va fino ad un massimo di 50 GBP (sull'e/c della carta di credito comparirà il corrispettivo delsuddetto importo in Euro).

Si ricorda che, in caso di modifica del nome del conducente o dell'agenzia di inizio noleggio, la prenotazione verrà automaticamente cancellata e rieffettuata dal sistema informatico, con relativa possibilità di addebito delle penali poco sopra citate.

Le spese sopra indicate si applicano a tutti i paesi ad eccezione del Regno Unito dove si applicano le seguenti penali:

• Se la cancellazione è effettuata con meno di 7 giorni dalla data di inizio noleggio, l'ammontare minore tra il presunto costo della prenotazione ed un importo forfetario che va ad un massimo di €45 verra' addebitato. (sull'e/c della carta di credito comparirà il corrispettivo delsuddetto importo in Euro).
• Se la cancellazione è effettuata con meno di 24 ore dalla data di inizio noleggio, l'intero importo della prenotazione verra' addebitato.

No shows

In caso di no show , ovvero di mancato ritiro dell'auto nel luogo e alla data prevista, Alamo Rent A Car si riserva il diritto di applicare una penale o per l'intero costo del noleggio o per un massimo di 70 euro dove il primo dovesse essere inferiore. In caso di no show il rimborso al netto delle penali sarà accreditato sulla carta di credito.

Le spese sopra indicate si applicano a tutti i paesi ad eccezione del Regno Unito dove si applicano le seguenti penali:

In caso di mancata presenza il giorno del ritiro del veicolo, abbiamo il diritto di addebitare l'importo del noleggio per mancata presenza.

Giorni nolo non utilizzati

Per le prenotazioni prepagate, gli eventuali giorni nolo non utilizzati non verranno in alcun modo rimborsati.

Di seguito viene riportata una spiegazione delle opzioni di copertura disponibili, alcune delle quali potrebbero essere già incluse nel pacchetto di noleggio scelto.

Portugal Mainland - Alamo

Additional Driver Policy

Additional driver fee is 5.00 Euro per driver per day with a maximum charge of 50.00 Euro per rental + VAT.

Age Requirements

The minimum rental age is as follows: 19 years for car groups: ECMR (Economy), EDMR (Economy), CDMR (Compact), CWMR (Compact Wagon-Estate), EDMD (Economy), CDMD (Compact), CWMD (Compact Wagon-Estate), IDMR (Intermediate), SDMR (Standard), SWMR (Standard Wagon-Estate), SWAR (Standard Wagon-Estate), CDAR (Compact), CWAR (Compact Wagon-Estate), IDAR (Intermediate), SDAR (Standard), CVMR (Compact Pax Van), IVMR (Intermediate Pax Van), SVMR (Standard Pax Van), ETMR (Economy Convertible) and CTMR (Compact Convertible). 25 years for all other car groups. There is no maximum age. A young driver fee of 5.00 Euros + VAT per day, with a maximum charge of 50.00 Euros + VAT per rental applies to driver's aged 19 - 22 years.

Cross Border Policy

Cars rented in Portugal are forbidden to go into the following countries: Algeria; Albania; Balearic Islands; Bosnia/Herzegovina; Byelorussia;Bulgaria; Canary Islands; Croatia; Cyprus; Czech Republic; Estonia; Greece; Hungary; Iceland; Iran; Iraq; Israel; Latvia; Lithuania; Macedonia; Malta; Moldavia; Montenegro; Morocco; Poland; Romania; Russia; Slovak Republic; Slovenia; Tunisia; Turkey; Ukraine and United Kingdom. Vehicles cannot travel by ferry to other Islands (Madeira/Azores) as the insurance does not cover this. Please be advised that due to a change in law in Germany, it is mandatory for all vehicles crossing the border into Germany to have winter tyres fitted during the Snow & Icy conditions. Customers will be fined on the spot if they are stopped by police and found to not have the appropriate winter tyres.

Delivery / Collection

Delivery and collections are provided at 10,00 Euros in Town and 20,00 Euros out of Town until 30KM, then it will be 0,80 Euros p/km (+ VAT). This service is only available if the city has a Europcar rental location. When returning vehicles, the grace period is 30 min., after that time, customers will be charged for a one day rental, inclusive of extras.

Insurance Excess

Collision Damage Waiver & Theft Waiver limits the customer's financial responsibility for loss, damage or theft of the rental vehicle. The maximum excess that is payable in the event of one of these incidents is 6000.00 EUR. The maximum excess will vary depending on the vehicle you are renting, please ask at time of rental for further information on which excess applies. If you would like to reduce or remove your excess responsibility please ask the rental staff when collecting your vehicle about additional products that are on offer .

License Requirements

Must have Full Current Licence valid at least 1year. Should your driving license not be resident to the country of origin of your booking we reserve the right to charge an appropriate rate for your country of residence.

One Way Rentals

Domestic one ways are allowed between all locations in Mainland Portugal & the drop charge varies from EUR 68.00 + VAT to EUR 100.00 + VAT depending on the distance but this will be confirmed at time of reservation. Some domestic one ways are free of charge. One ways are not allowed to/from Madeira. International one ways are allowed - please refer to the IOWP grid for details.

Out of Hours Policy

Out of hours pick ups are available as follows: Lisbon Apt: Mon - Sun: 01:01 - 02:00 (freesale) & 02:01 - 06:29 (on request). Oporto Airport: Mon - Sun: 00:00 - 01:00 (freesale) & 01:01 - 06:59 (on request). Faro Airport, 00:00 - 01:00 (freesale) & 01:01 - 06:29 (on request). Out of hour drop offs are only available at the above listed Airports and can only be requested at time of pick up. Out of hours pick ups & drop offs are not available at any other location. An additional charge of 25,00 Euros (+ VAT) per rental will apply for out of hours pick ups & drop offs.

Payment Policy

All major Credit Cards are acceptable as well as vouchers. We do hold a deposit on the credit card until the vehicle is returned. Deposit is made up of Rental Charges plus Excess plus Additional Items purchased, minimum 500,00 Euros. For credit card payments: Non Excess Waivable amount. If LDW is declined: Non Excess Waivable amount.

Refuelling Policy

All vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel and it is the customer's responsibility to return the vehicle full or pay for any missing fuel, plus a refuelling service charge of EUR 12.00 (inc VAT) at the end of rental. On rentals of 7 days or longer it is mandatory to add the cost of a full tank of fuel to our rental charges at time of pick up. This method eliminates the need for you to refuel the tank prior to returning. The fuel amount charged at time of rental will be based on a market competitive price and the car model rented. We are unable to issue a refund for unused fuel.

Roadside Assistance

Roadside assistance is provided 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Emergency telephone number is: +351 21 383 55 27.

Special Equipment

Child Infant Seat CSI (0-12 months) = EUR 8.50 per day + tax, with a maximum charge of EUR 85.00 + tax per rental. Replacement Amount is EUR 90.00 + tax. Child Toddler Seat CST (4-7 years) = EUR 8.50 per day + tax, with a maximum charge of EUR 85.00 + tax per rental. Replacement Amount is EUR 90.00 + tax. Booster seat BST (8-12 years) = EUR 5.50 per day + tax, with a maximum charge of EUR 55.00 + tax per rental. Replacement Amount is EUR 60.00 + tax. Only available at some locations. Baby seats CSB (1-3 years) are also available but are not loaded in the system - EUR 8.50 per day + tax, with a maximum charge of EUR 85.00 + tax per rental. Replacement Amount is EUR 90.00 + tax. GPS cannot be pre booked, however may be available at time of pickup at a cost of EUR 7.00 + tax per day, with a maximum charge of EUR 105.00 + tax per rental. Replacement Amount is EUR 100,00 + tax. If GPS is required for a one way rental then the cost will be EUR 15.00 + tax per rental. Replacement Amount is EUR 100,00 + tax. GPS is available at all locations except: Albrunheira (LISW01/71), Alfragide (LISW05/75), Mem Martins (LISW03/73) and Venda Seca (LISW06/76). The IPAD 2 device is available upon request at the rental counter - EUR 9.50 + tax per day, with a maximum charge of EUR 95.00 + tax per rental. Replacement amount is EUR 487.00 + tax. The rental of this equipment includes a 3G Card with full access to Internet, GPS and other applications. The IPAD 2 device with 16GB capacity and a 3G modem is on request and One-way for this device is not allowed. It is only available at the following locations: Faro Airport, Funchal Airport, Funchal Downtown, Lisbon Airport, Lisbon Downtown, Porto Airport and Porto Downtown. Ipad Support Holder is available upon request at the rental counter - EUR 2.36 + tax per rental. Replacement amount is EUR 4.55 + tax. It is only available at the following locations: Porto Airport. Headset's are available upon request at the rental counter - EUR 2.50 + tax per rental (this equipment is available for sale only). The Headset's are on free sell. Theses are only available at the following locations: Faro Airport, Funchal Airport, Funchal Downtown, Lisbon Airport, Lisbon Downtown, Porto Airport and Porto Downtown.  Please note: If a Baby Seat, IPAD 2, Headset or the Bluetooth device is required, please add this to the remarks on the reservation. If GPS is required, please add to the remarks on the reservation. We provide one fluorescent jacket per rental as the law requires, non returned jackets are charged at EUR 10.00 + tax. Bluetooth Hands Free Device (for use with a mobile phone) is available but not loaded in the system - EUR 4.40 + tax per day, with a maximum charge of EUR 66.00 + tax per rental. Replacement amount is EUR 50.00 + tax. The Bluetooth device is on request and only available at the following locations: Porto Airport, Lisbon Airport and Faro Airport.

Surcharges

Airport surcharge is 22,00 Euros (+ VAT) p/rental. Road Tax = 1,50 Euros p/day (+ VAT). Toll Fees: the use of roads called SCUT's (A28, A4, A41, A42, A17, A25 and A29), require the payment of a toll fee. This is a virtual toll and no payment at location is possible. The payment must be settled by the driver of the vehicle within 5 days after passing the toll booth at any Post Office Shop (CTT) or identified Pay Shop Agent. The driver must identify the vehicle registration number to settle the payment. Or alternatively all our vehicles can be equipped with an electronic toll device "Via Verde". This service is effective from the time when the electronic device is installed in the Europcar vehicle. This service has the cost of Euro 1.50 + VAT per day, charged up to a maximum of 10 days per rental. The value of the tolls will be debited at no additional cost to the customer's credit card until 30 days after the end date of the rental. Failure to pay the toll fee implies penalties provided by law.
